They're back. We don't know why they disappeared, but they have returned. They must have left when our blog blew up around the beginning of the year. Feel free to comment away. We do, however, reserve the right to edit those comments.

I'm now drinking some India Pale Ale and totally enjoying it! I'm looking ahead to Fall and was wondering about the Heritage Lager package. What is the recommended fermentation temperature for this? Is this a Lager yeast rather than an Ale yeast?

The IPA is one of my favorites. I'm glad you like it. The yeast for the Heritage Lager is a lager yeast strain. It is similar to a Californian Common yeast so it will ferment at ale temperatures. For best results I would try to keep the fermentation temperature below 70 degrees. It is a great beer. Probably the beer that I make the most.
