Last week after I uploaded my blog entry, I decided to be tricky and play with some of the MakeBeer.net blog settings. Although I consider myself to be fairly technologically proficient, the blog application proved to be too much for me to handle. I only succeeded in wiping out all the entire blog. Thank to the folks Gravitate Design we are back up and running. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to not play around with the blog settings too much.
Another resolution -- tone down the drinking. Of course I came up with this after New Year’s Eve, a night in which I drank entirely too much at a house of a friend of mine who happens to live within walking distance. This usually happens when I drink wine or champagne and I have the usual after effects the next day. Maybe my resolution should be drink less wine and drink more beer, preferably beer that I made myself. You see wine has more congeners than beer. What are congeners? Congeners are toxic chemicals that are formed during fermentation. Non-filtered beer like the bottle conditioned beers that I make can be good for you because they contain a large volume of vitamin B. So here’s to drinking more homemade beer in 2009.
My last resolution is no more New Year’s resolutions. Why wait for the New Year to make a resolution? Shouldn’t we resolve to make ourselves better every day?
